F5 Software Engineer, Intern Technical – Test Automation (Part time)
Working independently and in close cooperation with developers, architects and team peers to understand desired design and implementation aspects.
Perform functional and browser compatibility testing of the product, rapidly adjusting environment and testing techniques to product changes and arising challenges.
Constantly enrich their own and other’s knowledge and understanding of security threats, WEB applications trends and testing methodology.
Solving complex bug scenarios, actively assisting team to analyze and resolve various product issues.
Work on assignments for project and maintenance releases
Implement and maintain automated tests using proprietary and industry standard frameworks
Document software designs via functional specifications and other design documents
Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong networking experience with application protocols, especially HTTP/HTTPS
Experience in WEB Applications development or Testing, familiarity with CI/CD principles
Knowledge and experience in IT and Data Center technologies, including various virtualization solutions in Clouds
Knowledge of Linux operating system
Scripting languages experience (Bash, Python, Perl, JS)
Experience in Source control tools (Git, Perforce)
Excellent spoken and written English
Good communication skills
Attention to details and punctuality
3rd / 4th year students toward an academic degree in computer/engineering related field or equivalent work experience.
Duration of internship is 1,040 hours. Candidate must be available to start immediately and should be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week up to 100 hours per month.
