Ms. Smadar Nehab – Executive Director. Smadar is a technology entrepreneur and has held key positions in leading technology companies (EFI, Verisity, Mercury/Conduct). She brings broad experience in the initiation, the creation and management of technological organizations, and in organizational and technological consulting. Smadar earned a BA in Mathematics & philosophy of Science from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and M.Sc. in Computer Science form the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot.

Mr. Sami Saadi – Co-Manager, Community Relations and Finance. Sami is an independent CPA for Companies and NGO’s. Sami was a founder of the Jewish-Arab Technological Village in the Galilee, an NGO that promoted equal employment opportunities for Israeli Arabs. Sami is active in several social and cultural NGO’s for coexistence, including “Shchenim” (Neighbors). Sami earned his master and diploma as Certified Public Accountant from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Mr. Paz Hirschmann - Director of Resource Development and Government Relations. Paz joined Tsofen in August 2011 after holding a number of managerial positions in Ness Technologies and the Clalit Health Services for approximately 12 years. He was also the Vice President of the startup ISYS. Paz has a Masters Degree in Management, and he is a graduate of the Mandel Leadership Institute. Paz leads Tsofen’s connections with investors, philanthropic donors, and foundations, and facilitates and promotes Tsofen’s relations with government as well as its English public relations and communications.

Ms. Amani Brik - Director of Recruitment and Training. Amani joined Tsofen in August 2010. She earned a BA in Psychology and Human Services from University of Haifa, and currently studies Business Coaching. Amani has held various managerial positions in the import, export and customer service industries.

Ms. Jumana Salem – Director of Public Relations. Jumana joined Tsofen in October 2013. She earned her BA in Education for Social Justice and Peace at Seminar HaKibbutzim. She also completed a training in media and television through Agenda – the Israel Center for Strategic Communication. Prior to Tsofen she worked at the radio show “All Talk” with Yaron Dekel on Reshet B, and as a journalist for various Arabic media outlets. She also worked as a coordinator at a Shatil program for the advancement of social activism among Arab women in the center of Israel.  Jumana brings to Tsofen experience in social activism and public relations in various social change organizations.

Ms. Suheir Ghraib- Eid - Office Manager. Suheir joined Tsofen in March 2012. She was head of the Liaison Bureau in the Northern Region Court Hall and the Israel Bar Association for 8 years. Suheir also worked as head secretary in the Nazareth Campus of the Joint College, and was a coordinator and a lecturer in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design. Prior to that, Suheir worked as a clerk in the Nazareth branch of Bank Leumi. Suheir has a degree in Architectural Engineering and Accounting, and a diploma in Theology.

Ms. Avital Yanovsky - Business Development Manager. Avital is responsible for forming relationships with hi-tech and hi-tech support companies and familiarizing them with Tsofen’s work and with the human capital potential in the Triangle. She holds a degree in Computer Science from Bar Ilan University and has over 20 years of experience in the hi-tech industry, ranging from program development, project management and management of international groups. In recent years she has focused on project management in the area of workforce diversification, working with the 40+ population and people with disabilities.

Ms. Nivine Ruhana Shahade - Placement Coordinator. Nivine joined Tsofen in 2010 as a temporary employee, and joined the Recruiting and Placement team full time in 2011. Nivine earned a degree in Computer Science from Haifa University. She accompanies Tsofen candidates throughout the employment search process until their full integration in the hi-tech industry.

Ms. Ruthy Zamir -  Mentoring Program Manager. Ruthy is responsible for the Tsofen and Ma’antech Mentoring Program and assists with placements as well. She recruits the mentors and mentees, develops and builds the program plans and meetings, follows up on the progress of each couple, coaches and advises on an ongoing basis. Ruthy joined Tsofen after serving as VP HR at Spiral Solutions for 9 years. Ruthy is involved in voluntary activities & projects in her home region and her community.

Ms. Katie Karkaby – Recruitment and Training Coordinator. Katie is a graduate of Human Resources and Communication from the University of Haifa, and joined Tsofen in July 2011.

Ms. Mysaa Bshara – Recruitment and Training Coordinator, Triangle. Mysaa joined Tsofen in 2011 after working as Director of Marketing at Al Qasami College in Baqa Al Gharbia and as Investment Advisor at Bank Hapoalim. Mysaa earned a BA in Law and worked as a lecturer and intern in the area of employment law. She received her MBA with a specialization in marketing.

Ms. Ruth Wyshogrod – Resource Development Coordinator. Ruth joined Tsofen in October 2013. She prepares Tsofen’s grant requests and reports, and manages writing and translation of English language materials. Prior to Tsofen Ruth was the Office Manager at The Portland Trust and a Grant Writer at the Geneva Initiative. She earned her BA in Political Science and International Relations from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and is currently completing her MA in Public Policy at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya.
